Montreal, May 9, 2022
In preparation for #EAI2022, our launch meeting for the international entertainment and artificial intelligence (AI) community, E-Al is unveiling a preliminary program with a strong focus on networking and business partnerships. This major international event will take place in person and online on June 14 and 15, in Montreal.
“Anyone who wants to explore and be inspired by the myriad possibilities stemming from the intersection of these two industries should mark June 14 and 15 on their calendars. The program we have put together could play a big role in shaping R&D and the commercialization strategies adopted by businesses and organizations,” says Annie Mailloux, co-founder of E-AI. “Not to mention its impact on humans, artificial intelligence and augmented intelligence, which are central to developments in the entertainment industry.”
With Explore, Co-Create and Amplify as its themes, the event will tackle all the big issues, bringing these two worlds together and creating new avenues for fruitful and innovative collaboration. Discussions will focus on the metaverse, ethics, cybersecurity, and intellectual property, among others.
There are three different options for taking part in the two days of activities :
- Record mode, designed to activate participants’ neurons: Presentations will provide rich and stimulating content on a wide range of subjects, including innovative case studies, integration, and applications. In addition, panels of experts will present complementary perspectives on collaborating to create innovative projects, identifying solutions to common challenges, etc. Finally, the event will provide an international showcase to highlight groundbreaking projects in entertainment and AI.
- Play mode, designed to spark dialogue: Workshops, co-creation tables and networking opportunities will bring players in the two industries together to kick-start discussions and explore possibilities. Co-development workshops will focus on specific issues and concrete solutions based on participants’ collective intelligence. Co-construction workshops will focus on concrete actions that will guide the E-AI community’s development in the years ahead.
- Fast Forward mode, designed to bring projects to fruition: Initiatives already under way will be accelerated with support from partners. This platform will also provide opportunities to present new ideas, initiatives and projects. Express coaching sessions will offer guidance and concrete, personalized advice from experts. It’s a unique opportunity to show off projects to financial backers, investors and buyers.
